Tribute to Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was a visionary American entrepreneur, inventor, and co-founder of Apple Inc. He transformed the world of technology and design with groundbreaking products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

Born in San Francisco and adopted as an infant, Jobs was a curious and creative thinker from a young age. He dropped out of college but stayed on campus to attend classes that interested him, including calligraphy, which later influenced Apple’s design philosophy. Reflecting on this, he once said:

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”

In 1976, along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, Jobs founded Apple in a garage. The company grew rapidly, introducing personal computers that were both powerful and easy to use. Jobs' passion for simplicity and innovation set Apple apart.

After internal conflicts, Jobs left Apple in 1985 and started NeXT, while also acquiring Pixar, which revolutionized animation with movies like Toy Story. He returned to Apple in 1997, leading its remarkable comeback. Under his leadership, Apple became one of the most valuable companies in the world.

Jobs believed in following one’s passion and thinking differently:

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”

“Stay hungry, stay foolish.”

He battled pancreatic cancer for several years and passed away on October 5, 2011, at the age of 56. His legacy lives on through the products he helped create and the inspiration he gave to millions:

“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
